3.7 OVERHEAD STRUCTURE DATA FORM

The Overhead Structure Data Form lets you view and edit existing structures and create new ones. Each overhead structure is a collection of circuits and ground wires on a tower or pole. An overhead structure must have at least one circuit.

You can open this form from the Overhead Structure Library Form by pressing the  button or by double-clicking on an overhead structure name in the list. You can open multiple instances of the form simultaneously, each for a different structure.

The Name edit box near the top of the form is a required field.  The name must uniquely identify this structure. The name is limited to 40 characters.

You can generate a line constants report for all the circuits on this structure by pressing the  button. This is the quickest way to get the circuits’ self and mutual parameters on a per-mile (or per-km) basis.

There are two tabs in this form: the Layout tab and the Info tab.
