3.11 LINE DATA FORM

The Line Data Form is the primary work space for a line. In this form you can add, remove and edit line sections, enter and edit line data, view the line impedance report, and perform other line-related commands for data transfer, fault location, etc.

You can open this form by:

-    Pressing the  button in the Line Browser.

-    Double-clicking on a row in the Line Browser’s data grid.

-    Double-clicking on a line object in the Line Data Form’s layout diagram.

-    Clicking on a line-name label in the Line Section Data Form.

-    Double-clicking on a line object in the Line Section Data Form’s cross-section view.

Multiple instances of the Line Data Form can be open at the same time, each for a different line.

Near the top of the form are several required fields that identify the line:

Name            A name that uniquely identifies the line.

From/To        Name of two end buses of the line.

kV                 The line’s nominal kV. To modify the nominal kV for an existing line, you must use the  Misc | Change nominal kV command in this form.

This form has two tabs: the Sections tab and the Info tab.
