The Tools | Admin | Enable Consulting Mode command lets the administrator to turn on or off the Consultant mode in an Enterprise line database file (.ALD).
When the Consultant mode is turned on, the command will generate an access code that consultants and other users outside the organization, who use the ASPEN Line Database Desktop version must enter to open and work with the ALD file. All users of the ASPEN Line Database Enterprise version will still be to open the ALD file but only for read-only operations.
